FOUNDATION FOR SOCIAL CHANGE AND INCLUSION: INNOVATION IN THE SOCIAL SECTOR
A few days before Christmas, the Foundation for Social Change and inclusion (FSCI) held a round table in Sofia. The idea of the event was to start a new cooperation between businesses, NGOs, public administration and the disadvantaged people in the country.

The project of FSCI – “Innovative approach in matching social services with social entrepreneurship – Centre “Opportunity”” was rated with 77.5 out of the maximum 80 points. The project aims to support care leavers and people at risk of poverty in their transition to independent life. FSCI implements therapeutic individual and group techniques, training in social skills and personal development with focus on social entrepreneurship and training in key skills such as sales skills and business planning.
“Innovative approach in matching social services with social entrepreneurship – Centre Opportunity” also aims at establishing a network of interested parties within the NGO sector, with government institutions and business organizations.
The involvement of business organizations in the project ensures the professional development of the representatives of the target groups by providing them with work and creating prerequisites for reducing social inequalities between marginalized communities and society. This innovative approach will provide services that aim to improve the welfare of the representatives of the target group.
