St. Kiril & Metodii Primary School in Lipnitsa closes its doors every summer and winter during the holidays. Most of the kids do not rejoice in this though because it means they have to go back to their families where food is often scarce and heating in the winter is a luxury.
To create an alternative to these poor living conditions and to bring joy to the children of Lipnitsa, FSCI runs a Summer Camp every year on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast where a team of young people from the UK and Bulgaria provide 10 days of games and activities for the children.
