Training of our partners “World without borders”, led by Chris Mould
Foundation for Social Change & Inclusion and Trussell Trust UK are partners with World Without Borders Association in the “Together we can do more” model for social inclusion of vulnerable ethnic communities. This model focuses on Roma projects within the framework of the “Human resources” Operational Programme (Contract №: BG051PO001-7.0.07-0185-S0001).
Planned activities within the project timeframe included a training session which was led by Chris Mould, chairman of the Trussell Trust, and which was held at the beginning of June in Stara Zagora. The training was attended by representatives of the “World Without Borders” Association, FSCI and representatives of youth organisations from Stara Zagora and the region.
The main topic of the training was the development of a model for social inclusion for the Roma community, with the goal of sharing best practices from Western Europe and especially Britain. The training was focused on the process of social policy devlopment by NGOs working with vulnerable individuals, groups and communities. In connection with this, the topics conflict resolution, decision making, social inclusion and entrepreneurship in the process of expansion and sustainability of our organisations were also discussed.
